Games to kill time (and learn something on the way)

Five spare minutes and your phone in your hand. Instead of scrolling for the sake of it, play a round of Cartógrafo: we name a country, you tap it on the map, the clock is ticking. It lasts about as long as a coffee takes to cool down.

Short games that start themselves

Every game takes a couple of minutes. No tutorial, no account, nothing to download: open the site and play. When you finish, the next one starts by itself a few seconds later, so you can chain three or stop whenever you like.

There are 29 maps: every continent plus the provinces, states and regions of 22 countries, from Spain to Brazil or Canada. Each one has several games: find the country, its capital, its flag, or a quiz on rivers, mountains and population.

Something to chase

Each piece is worth up to 100 points: the faster and cleaner, the more you score. Beating your record is addictive, and the daily challenge puts you against everyone on the same map in the same order. Play it once and see where you rank.

Rather take on someone you know? Send your score on WhatsApp with a link: your friend plays exactly the same game and sees if they can beat you.

Light enough for any phone

The site is small and runs well on basic phones and patchy connections. It works just as well on a computer, with a mouse or the keyboard.
