Cartógrafo has no sign-up and no accounts. We never ask for your email or your real name.
What is stored in your browser
Your browser's local storage keeps your records, the theme (day or night), the name and colour you pick for rooms and an anonymous id so a room recognises you when you reconnect. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Rooms with friends
When you play in a room, the name and colour you pick and your progress are sent to our room server (Cloudflare) so the other players can see them and the game survives a disconnection.
Daily challenge
If you publish your daily challenge mark, your nickname and your result (points, time and misses) appear in that day's public ranking.
Game statistics
When a game ends we keep its result (map, game, points, time, right answers and misses) to learn how people play and improve the game. Outside the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, or if you accepted cookies, it goes with your browser's anonymous id and your nickname; otherwise with neither. We never keep your answers or your IP, and we delete it all after 180 days.
Advertising
The site is paid for by Google ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or identifiers to show ads and measure them; personalised ads are only shown with your consent. More at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to serve the pages and protect them from abuse.
